This is your ascension energy update for this week. I sort of get the feeling you get when you’ve stepped off the rollercoaster and you don’t know whether you’re coming or going. All you know is that you’ve had a massive rush of blood to the head and you’re still spinning!
It’s been a strange few weeks, almost surreal for a lot of us. The energies have been ramping up for the last month or so and it feels like change is on the horizon. For many of us, 2018 was a chaotic year full of life lessons. 2019 feels a lot calmer and time has slowed down significantly.
Collectively, I feel that reflection is a theme in all senses of the word. We’re looking back and looking forward simultaneously. We’re also really starting to open up in terms of what is being reflected back at us. There may be more lessons for some of us and for others, there may be pure gold that dazzles and blinds us. I feel it’s back and forth between the past and future dimensions quite rapidly to navigate these energies.
It’s difficult to keep up when you’re working deeply with your past but at the same time looking forward to your future. We are always creating from this present moment and it feels like we are learning something quite unique at the moment.
Just as when you learn to drive, you have to multitask – the energy feels a bit like that. It’s overwhelming at first but when you realise that this is how it’s going to be from now on, you begin to start working with it.
In the beginning it takes a lot to shift your attention from one thing to the other and back again but trust this process because it really does feel like it’s going to be fruitful.
It’s a lot to work and deal with and we are all learning to get to grips with this new dimension. I say that because it really is a new dimension that we are entering.
One of the biggest themes, and this is one that I feel is going to be coming up quite a lot, is identity. How we currently define ourselves, how we want to define ourselves and how the past has defined us. We are in a position of choice which can feel pretty overwhelming. That combined with this constant flipping motion between dimensions and at the same time getting to grips with reality can make you feel a bit nauseous. I take you back to the rollercoaster analogy that we started with.
As we work towards this “who we are” and grapple with the constant moving parts, we feel uncertainty looming. It’s important to get to grips with this because it is a given. It’s not as easy as it sounds so if you need help with this, give me a shout.
Many of us have faced a total breakdown of identity. Many of us are holding on for dear life because we don’t know what’s replacing it. I think 2018 was teaching us about letting go and we go deeper in to this lesson now. For many of us, the experiences of 2018 are proving to be a training ground for this new dimension that we are entering.
We find ourselves remembering and forgetting those lessons in order to go deeper in to them. We also find ourselves fighting to keep what we hold dearly and lose what doesn’t serve us. We continue to do the inner work but there’s a sense of outcome being quite a distance away, almost as if we’re not meant to see what it is yet because seeing it will just be a spoiler.
Trust, faith and hope. Of these three, the dominant feeling is one of being hopeful which is a far cry from previous months when we were in the thick of it.
A sparkly new you starts to emerge. One that you may not even recognise as you step off that rollercoaster in your own time and get your breath back. Now is the time to rethink and revisualise. The hardest thing will be accepting a total 360 in direction for some of us and for others, a need to disrupt the flow in order to influence this change.
One thing I can say is that it is a very exciting time. The energies are thick and dense so even though there is excitement, there is also much work to be done. It feels like being on the red eye, drifting in and out of sleep and waking up to find a blanket of snow and silence all around at your target destination.
Don’t feel lost just keep on going. It will all make sense soon.
Until next time…
